Two popular and long-running adult dance classes begin this month at the Ocean Pines Community Center’s Assateague Room. Both classes are suitable for all skill levels.
Line dancing with instructor Lois Ingram will offer participants an opportunity to socialize and exercise while learning beginner dance steps to some of the most popular line dances.
The session will be offered on Tuesdays from 5:30-7 p.m., Sept. 24-Nov. 19. The cost for all 9 classes is $60 for Ocean Pines residents and $75 for non-residents.
Instructor Mary McCormick will teach easy steps to everything from swing to ballroom in a hand dancing class, offered on Tuesdays, Sept. 24-Oct. 29 from 7:15-8:30 p.m. Additional sessions will be held Nov. 12-Dec. 17, Jan. 7-Feb. 11 and March 3-April 7.
The cost per six-week session is $55 for Ocean Pines residents and $65 for non-residents.
These classes are open to the public, and registration is required.
