Anniversary Parade/Community Day Details

The Ocean Pines 50th Anniversary Parade and Community Day will happen as planned despite the forecast for this weekend.

50th Anniversary Parade in Ocean Pines, Open to the Public

The Anniversary Parade along Ocean Parkway begins at 10:00 am. The parade staging area is the road leading to the Worcester County Wastewater Plant where parade entries only will be directed by Ocean Pines Police Officers and our Neighborhood Watch Volunteers. Parade registration deadline is Wednesday, May 16, 2018.

Remember that Ocean Parkway will be closed northbound from Mumford’s Landing Road to St Martin’s Lane (approx. 2.5 miles) from 9:45 am until the parade ends. Parking along the road on the Northbound side of Ocean Parkway will be prohibited. Side streets along the way are great places to park and view the parade. The Judges’ viewing area will be on Ocean Parkway at White Horse Park, 235 Ocean Parkway in Ocean Pines.

This event is an excellent way to see organizations, clubs, businesses or families who have registered to celebrate along the Parkway.
