Caregiver Support Group meetings have expanded

Because many people have joined the Caregiver Support Group in Ocean Pines, the meeting times have been expanded.

The Caregiver Support Group will continue to meet on the second and fourth Thursdays in the Ocean Pines Library. The start times will remain at 3 p.m., but the meeting will now last until 4:30 p.m. so that everyone can share and participate.

Meetings are organized to help those struggling to care for a loved one with Alzheimer’s or dementia, and offer caregivers professional support, access to resources, and encouragement from others in similar situations.

If you provide care for a loved one, please know YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Many neighbors are providing care and seek to share their experiences and ideas for assistance. The meetings are private and confidential.
