OPVFD to meet with neighbors following fatal fire

(Feb. 23, 2023) Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Department personnel will meet with residents in the area of Pirate Place and Seafarer Lane in Ocean Pines, following a fatal fire there on Tuesday. 
 
Fire Chief Steve Grunewald said the department would be at that intersection on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 11 a.m. to answer questions, and hand out free smoke detectors to those who need them.
