Association Releases Winter 2018 Newsletter

The Ocean Pines Association (OPA) has released its quarterly newsletter, The Ocean Pines Report, on Monday, Jan. 22. It’s a commemorative issue that showcases the community’s 50 years of excellence in Worcester County. The Association has reported progress in area construction projects, which includes the Manklin Meadows Racquet Sports Complex in Ocean Pines. Newly hired General Manager John Bailey provides a quarterly update of the Association’s operations. The Ocean Pines Association has announced the hiring of Steve Phillips as its new director of finance. Flip through the pages of the newsletter and take pride in the community you call ‘home.’

OPA, BJ’s Wholesale Club Raise Funds

BJ’s Wholesale Club, in partnership with the Ocean Pines Association, donated $585 to the Worcester County Veterans Memorial at Ocean Pines as a part of its fall 2017 membership offer. Read more on page 19.

It is Winter 2018 and Ocean Pines has just weathered, pardon the pun, a blizzard that brought 13 inches of snow, cold temps, and high winds. For me, I had to ask – the rest of my family is back in Virginia surrounded by mountains and I and my wife have moved to the beach – what’s wrong with this picture? Read more on page 5.
