This 10-week class is designed to teach practical and effective self-defense techniques that can be used in real-world situations. It is taught in a friendly and non-competitive environment. Benefits include improved balance, flexibility, strength, mental focus, body awareness and self-confidence. Using the path of least resistance and proper leverage, students will improve their ability to defend themselves. Students will practice techniques that include proper body stance and relaxation, breathing, joint locks, strikes, and breaking-away motions. Advanced training is available once the basics of self-defense have been learned. The class is designed for adult men and women who are in good health. Class space is limited- call to register.
