This program is geared toward people with arthritis (or other joint issues) to provide greater flexibility and strength in the joints & to increase balance to reduce falls. Tai Chi, also called “Moving Meditation,” can also reduce depression and anxiety, improve sleep and reduce or eliminate chronic pain issues. The practices are upright, slow & continuous movements. Anyone can practice Tai Chi because movements can be adjusted to the individual.
