On Oct. 19, 50 children decorated pumpkins and had their faces painted at the Kids’ Market Zone at the Ocean Pines Farmers and Artisans Market. Pumpkins were donated by market greengrocer D. J. David & Company.
The Kids’ Market Zone, under the leadership of Marketplace Features Director Janice Curtis, offers free crafting activities and a weekly story time. Craft projects are designed to be easy and are often related to the chosen story time book. Mom and dad can join in on the crafting fun or slip away for a few moments of market shopping.
The Ocean Pines Farmers and Artisans Market is open Saturdays from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in White Horse Park.
