This Week at the Ocean Pines Farmers & Artisans Market: Oct. 19

There are fall goodies and activities galore at this week’s Ocean Pines Farmers & Artisans Market! The market is open Saturdays from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in White Horse Park.

Pumpkin Palooza – This Saturday, the first 30 children to arrive at the Kids’ Market Zone from 9 a.m.-noon will receive a free pumpkin to decorate and take home!

The Kids’ Market Zone, under the leadership of Marketplace Features Director Janice Curtis, offers free crafting activities and a weekly story time. Craft projects are designed to be easy and are often related to the chosen story time book. Moms and dads can join in on the crafting fun or slip away for a few moments of market shopping.

Market Open-Air Kitchen – Tanya Taylor-Dockery, owner of I.C.E.D. – Intriguing Confections Exquisite Desserts – will join us in the Market Open-Air Kitchen for a fun cookie decorating class. This free class will begin at 9 a.m.

Market Stage – Steve Bounds returns to the stage this week with his music and story telling. Known by many as the voice of the market, Steve will present his market soundtrack to shoppers from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
