Annual Pink Lady Golf Tournament to benefit cancer care and research, Oct. 18

The following is a release from the OPLGA:

(Sept. 12, 2023) The OPLGA, along with the OPMGA, would like to invite all golfers interested in supporting a worthy cause to join them in the Pink Lady Tournament on Oct. 18 at 1 p.m. at the Ocean Pines Golf Club. 

What: This will be a nine-hole, four-person scramble. You may signup as a single, duo, threesome or foursome. All are welcome! Please try to arrive by 12:30 p.m. to sign-in.  

Cost: There is no charge! Those without OPGC membership and/or cart package will need to take care of their own cart and greens fees.  

How to enter: Sign-up sheets will be available in the Ocean Pines Golf Pro Shop or you can email Janet Stoer at [email protected] or  Lynn Schneider at [email protected]. The Deadline to enter is Oct. 11. 

Prizes: Bragging rights! 

Look for: A chance to contribute to a worthy cause. All checks should be made out to Atlantic General Hospital (AGH) Foundation with OP Pink Lady written on the memo line. Please bring some extra cash, as there will be bundle for sale that includes a mulligan, a free throw from anywhere, and a free putt, as well as 50/50 tickets. 

What to do: Be there, have fun, and wear Pink. 

The OPLGA and OPMGA supports the AGH Foundation and helps pay for and provide mammograms and related care for women in our area who are unable to afford these services. Over the past 12 years, we have donated over $18,000 to the Atlantic General Women’s Imaging and Eunice Q. Sorin Women’s Diagnostic Center.
