OPLGA announces tournament winners 

(Sept. 22, 2023) The Ocean Pines Ladies Golf Association held its annual Club Championship and Governors' Cup tournaments on Sept. 18-19 at Ocean Pines Golf Club.   

The Club Championship is a two-day low-gross tournament, and the Governors' Cup is a one-day low-net tournament.   

Twenty OPLGA members played in the events, and Golf Pro Bob Beckelman and assistant John O’Connor pitched in.  

Tournament winners were:
 

• Club Championship: Geri Fasulo 
• Club Championship 1st flight: Tammy Banachowski and Kathy Monaco 
• Club Championship 2nd flight: Denise Stevens and Donna Kelly
• Governors' Cup Championship: Denise Stevens 
• Governors' Cup 1st flight: Kathy Monaco and Jerica Myers 
• Governors' Cup 2nd flight: Donna Kelly and Carolyn Neal 

Susan Morris won closest to the pin on both days. 

Lunch and the awards presentation was held at the Clubhouse Bar & Grille.  

The OPLGA welcomes ladies to join the organization for some fun golf and good comradery.
