A fun, social, and year-round sport! Platform tennis is an outdoor racquet sport for any age that combines elements of tennis and racquetball. The game, which is mainly a doubles sport, is played with a solid paddle and a spongy ball. The court is 1/3 the size of a tennis court and surrounded by screens that let players keep the ball in play after it hits off the court and then the screens.
Our eight courts are located next to the tennis courts at the Ocean Pines Racquet Center.

We have multiple drop-ins each week for all abilities. Just come on down and play! Paddles provided.

Racquet Center visitors are asked to place drop-in fees in the Pro Shop drop box when a Pro Shop attendant is not on duty.

Racquet Sport Members & Guests – Please sign in at the Pro Shop prior to heading to the courts. By signing in, you help us keep track of court usage/availability, maintain accurate statistics and validate memberships. Thank you!
Racquet Sports Members Only: Ocean Pines Racquet Sports members are asked to sign at the Pro Shop using their member/resident ID card. Members who don't have a card can have one made at the Ocean Pines Administration Building.

Platform Tennis Drop-In Times
These drop-in sessions are open to all, members and those wishing to play on a drop-in basis. No advanced sign up is required. The formats vary depending on the number of players. We often play four-game sessions to keep the wait times short. It is a great way to meet the players.
Monday, 3 p.m. - Platform Tennis drop-in and social
Thursday, 5 p.m. - Platform Tennis drop-in and social
Sunday, 2 p.m. - All Sport drop-in
