Spec Tennis
Spec Tennis combines elements of tennis, paddle (platform) tennis, and pickleball, and is a natural bridge to and from other racquet sports. Spec is played with a paddle and a low-bounce tennis ball on the fenced platform courts (one-third the size of a regulation tennis court).
Those who used to play or still play tennis can use all of their tennis strokes and skills for Spec Tennis. With a shoulder-friendly underhand serve and simple scoring, players are game-ready after some short instruction.
For those who have never played racquet sports, this is an easy way to pick up tennis skills and get a feel for the game. It’s easier to learn than tennis, but also teaches the fundamentals of the game. Success comes quickly!
There are drop-ins, reserved court time, lessons and social events for mens, ladies and co-ed groups. Equipment is provided. So come on down! Email us at oppaddle2020@gmail for more information and to arrange a FREE lesson!
