About

The Recreation & Parks Department offers an array of year-round recreational and leisure activities for all ages and interests. The mission of the Recreation & Parks Department is to provide quality and cost-effective recreational activities, facilities, parks and special events that meet the needs of Ocean Pines property owners and residents. In order to fulfill its mission, the department offers a broad range of classes and community-wide activities. It also operates and schedules activities in the Community Center, parks, marinas, Beach Club and tennis facilities.

Free Seminars with Back in Action Back in Action Physical Therapy will present several free informational seminars on a variety of topics this fall and winter. 
Kids' Thanksgiving Craft Time Create a painted wooden napkin holder for the holiday on Sunday, Nov, 8 from 2-3 p.m.
Build Your Own Scarecrow Contest We'll provide  the straw - you provide the outfit and accessories for your scarecrow on Oct. 31 from 10 a.m.-noon.
Virtual Costume Contest Snap a photo of yourself in your Halloween costume through Oct. 25!
Zumba for the Cure Proceeds from this "Party in Pink Zumbathon" will benefit Relay for Life and Believe in Tomorrow. Sessions held Oct. 16, Oct. 17 and Nov. 1.
Trunk or Treat Decorate your car and come to White Horse Park to pass out your own Halloween treats on Friday, Oct. 30. Free registration!
Toddler Time Children ages 18 months-3 years can socialize through playtime, crafts, music and more. A new session will be held Oct. 1-Nov. 19.
